Arzel Zoning

Selling comfort (rather than heating and cooling) to a homeowner presents a professional answer to issues your customer may have in their home. It also allows you the "Comfort Consultant" the opportunity to sell additional products at greater margins. Zoning can resolve many comfort issues in a home while providing big gains in system efficiency. Your customer needs it, they just don't know it.

The Arzel product is unique in the manner that the system uses wireless and motor-less dampers. An air pump in the control panel will drive and control up to 40 dampers and (8) separate zones. This is an extremely reliable and inexpensive way to zone an existing home or new construction. With most zoning systems locating a damper in each branch is cost prohibitive. Because of the lower cost of the Arzel dampers no changes in the ductwork need to be made, a simple 1/4" pneumatic hose can control any number of 6" branch dampers.

Each Arzel system you install is covered by a complete 5 year parts and labor warranty, dampers are 10 years!

ADP "A" coils

Meier Supply now has a complete selection of "A" coils from Advanced Distributor Products in stock! The coils are ARI matched to Ruud's 13 SEER cooling and heat pump units. The coils come with a painted cabinet to match the Ruud furnaces (color and dimension) or come uncased for retrofit applications. The coil design uses a TXV, this will allow the coil to also be applied to 10  or 13 SEER systems. The integrated anti-microbial drain pan will allow for upflow, down-flow, and horizontal installations and is UV rated.

Degree Days

It's probably safe to say we won't be expecting any more cooling degree days for the balance of 2005, but a what a year it was. We ended up 40% higher than the previous year.

The heating season is off to a mild start - much like 2004.
