Stay-Silv® 5 Phos-Copper Brazing Alloy

• 4.8-5.2% Silver, 5.8-6.2% Phosphorus,
  Balance% Copper, 0.15% max Other (total)
• Medium-range alloy well suited where
  close fit-up cannot be maintained
• Filler metal is more ductile than Harris 0 or Stay-Silv® 2
• Self-fluxing on copper
• Use Stay-Silv® white flux when brazing brass or copper to brass
• Brazing Range:  1320-1500°F (716-816°C)
• Solidus: 1190°F (643°C)
• Liquidus: 1494 to 1506°F (812 to 819°C)
• ANSI/AWS A5.8 Class BCuP-3, ASME SFA 5.8 Class BCuP-3,
  QQ-B-650C Class BCuP-3
